Goddess of Fertility Idol

The Idol of the Chachapoyan Warriors rested on a pedestal at the end of a booby trap-filled hallway. The absence of the idol triggered the release of the huge boulder which nearly killed Indy. The idol was stolen by Indy's rival, Rene Belloq, with the aid of the Hovitos warriors.

Headpiece of the Staff of Ra

The Headpiece of Ra- was kept by Marion Ravenwood, who got it from her father. The Nazis wanted it because when it was placed on the top of a staff and held in the map room, it would shine a beam of light on the location of the Well of the Souls, where the ark of the covenant was kept.

 The Ark of the Covenant

The Ark of the Covenant- was hidden in the Well of Souls for many years, but finally was found by Dr. Indiana Jones. The Ark is described in exact detail in the Old Testament book of Exodus. Its design included two golden winged cherubs facing one another atop a wooden chest plated inside and out with gold.
